We would go if we didn’t have to work overtime.

I have to work that day, so I can’t go. I would go if I didn’t have to work that day.

I would speak perfect English if I lived in America. (Lived in America for a long time)

I would speak perfect English if I live in America. (Live in America only one day and speak perfect English???)

Grammar

ADVERB:     -ly       To do something in a certain way.   How you do something.

You don’t need to loudly   (There is no VERB, so we don’t know DO WHAT loudly)

You don’t need to speak loudly

He talks very quickly.

He very quickly. (You don’t know what he is doing)

BE + ADJ.

You don’t need to be loud.
