Important NOTE: Life in America is NOT a TV show.

In China we…. (we have/ we do this)

Do you (do this/that) in America?

What is _____ like in America?    (What is high school like in America?)

In China I wake up at about 8 O’clock on the weekend. When do you wake up on the weekend?

In china maybe everyone wakes up at 8am, because everyone does the same thing. But in America everyone is different, they don’t need to wake up at any time, so they just wake up whenever they want. If you have kids, you will probably wake up very early, if you don’t have kids you can sleep in.

How late do you sleep in on the weekends?

I sleep in till 10am on the weekends.

What breakfast do you like in America?

I cook the same breakfast in China, that I cook in America. Which is my favorite breakfast, bacon and scrambled eggs.

What sports do you like in America?

Good question. Americans love sports, teachers also love students who play sports. Sometimes they think the sports are more important than exams. We usually like to play Football( Gan Lan qiu), Basketball, Baseball(Wang qiu). But we also like Tennis, and golf. Americans also like Extreme(Very much, or a little crazy) sports, which don’t really play a game or use a score, you just do this sport for fun, and usually its not about winning or losing.
