eg: If you keep putting off your homework you won’t have enough time to finish it.

can’t stand – can not tolerate

eg: I can’t stand smelling that stinky tofu.

Grammar

We should stop to look at the mountain.   (the reason you stop, is TO look at it) (you are not stopped yet)

We should stop looking at the mountain. (we are looking at the mountain, and we should stop doing that, maybe we are late)
