I haven’t had my birthday yet. / I didn’t have my birthday yet.

I haven’t had my baby yet.

I haven’t gotten married yet.

I haven’t bought a car yet. / I have bought a car years ago.

Because I didn’t get my driver’s license yet. /

Done or Have Done : Many times share the meaning

Have done – at least one time before, the subject did it.

I have cooked dinner before.

Done – Finished doing it. One time.

I didn’t cook dinner today.

How to Know Which One???

Go to Work/School/     Go home – There is only one place each person has for these things. So we don’t need to say which one it is.

A – any one, it doesn’t matter           I need to find a girlfriend.   I want to buy a car.

This/That – you know which one  .    I want this car.    I want that girl to be my girlfriend.

The –    1.  Only one  (The moon) (The Subway)   2. If we know the context, we were talking about it.    –  Did you go to the doctor? go to the store?

Vocabulary

get it out of the way – to take care of something you need to do

eg: I’m so happy I got that out of the way, now I don’t have to worry about it.

get it over with – just do it and stop waiting

eg: If you are going to quit get it over with soon.

e.g: You still haven’t quit yet? Just get it over with.

Yesterday, I came to the bund with my friends.They had business trip went to Italy and then came back China,they need turn fly 7 hours in Shanghai, they decided to meet me.
We met in lujiazui station, I decided bring them to eat yunnan dish. They have came here 6 times , except the little girl which graduated from university just 8 months, this was her first time come here.
We went to nanjing east road and we went to cinema and then back home .
