touchy: sensitive

e.g we have covered many touchy topics today

PC/politically correct: words or phrases that are socially acceptable because they do not harm people.

using sexuality pronouns/definitions as a noun can be impolite and politically incorrect e.g he is a gay

correction: he is gay

Third world/first world: ledc, lower economically developed countries/ hedc, higher economically developed countries

LGBTQ+

lesbian: woman who is sexually attracted to another woman

gay: men who are sexually attracted to another man

bisexual: a man or women who is interested in both (traditional) genders

Transgender: used to describe someone who feels that they are not the same gender (=sex) as the physical body they were born with, or who does not fit easily into being either male or female

Queer: you don’t have a traditional sexuality, and you cannot be defined as necessarily gay, lesbian etc.

sexually fluid: sexually doesn’t stay the same

pansexual: interested in all genders

asexual:having no interest in sexual relationships
