Vocabulary

Hit-or-miss (adj): 1- as likely to be bad as to be good, esp. because of not being planned or organized well.
E.g.: The service you get in these big stores can be hit-or-miss, depending on the salesperson you talk to.

Addictive (adj): 1- An addictive drug or activity is one that you cannot stop taking once you have started. (n: Addiction / n: addict / adj: addicted)
E.g.: Taobao is highly addictive.

Invasive (adj): 1- moving into all areas of something and difficult to stop:
E.g.: They treated the cancer with non-invasive methods/surgery (= not cutting into the body).
