allowance (n): 1-money that someone is given regularly by their employer or by the government to pay for a particular thing:
E.g.: an accommodation/car/mileage allowance
E.g.: an allowance for sth/to do sth Some companies will even give their telecommuting executives an allowance to buy office furniture for their home.
E.g.: Employees relocating to London receive a maximum allowance of £1000 a year.

sloppy (adj): 1-not taking care or making an effort:
E.g.: Spelling mistakes always look sloppy in a formal letter.
E.g.: sloppy clothes

accustomed (adj): 1-familiar with something:
E.g.: She quickly became accustomed to his messy ways.
E.g.: I’m not accustomed to being treated like this.
