Speaking exercise

It happened in a Friday afternoon, my manager asked me to wrote a report and sent it to someone who worked in the government, after I have done the task and I found I didn’t know the Wechat of the people I should send the report to so I told my leader and she said, She would correct report and send it by herself. After the weekend in Monday the manager called me and questioned me why I hadn’t sent the report and I had no idea so I looked at my leader who was beside me, from her facial expression I knew she hadn’t sent and she whispered to me ” Just say YES”. It was weird because my manager just asked me the reason and I had to say him “Yes”. Finally I said, “I’m sorry” to my manager and he hung up  the phone angrily. Then, my leader said  She thought that was not her duty because it was improper for her to send the report, but I felt wronged because she said she would help me to send the report and she also had promised me she would protect me if something happened but she didn’t. So at that moment I felt angry and wronged.

After the weekend on Monday the manager called me and questioned me why I hadn’t sent the report and I had no idea what he was talking about/why he was asking me about that, so I looked at my leader who was beside me. From her facial expression I knew that she hadn’t sent the report and she whispered to me ” Just say YES”. It was weird because my manager just asked me about the reason and I had to say  “Yes” to him. Finally I said, “I’m sorry” to my manager and he hung up  the phone angrily. Then, my leader said that  She thought it was not her duty because it was improper for her to send the report, but I literally  felt wronged because she said she would help me to send the report and she also had promised me that she would protect me if something happened but at the end she didn’t. So at that very moment I felt angry and wronged.
