Vocabulary

opposite (adj): 1-completely different. 2- being in a position on the other side; facing
E.g.1: You’d never know they’re sisters – they’re completely opposite to each other in every way.
E.g.2: My brother and I live on opposite sides of the city.

completely (adv): in every way or as much as possible
E.g.: I agree with you completely.
E.g.: She’s completely mad.

attack (v): 1- to try to hurt or defeat using violence. 2- to criticize someone strongly.
E.g.1: Most wild animals won’t attack unless they are provoked.
E.g.2: She wrote an article attacking the judges and their conduct of the trial.

attack (n): 1-a violent act intended to hurt or damage someone or something.
E.g.: Enemy forces have made an attack on the city.

midnight-午夜
E.g.: We didn’t arrive at our hotel until after midnight.

E.g.: I finish work at noon on Saturday, so we could go for a coffee then.

rent (v):出租 1-to pay or receive a fixed amount of money for the use of a room, house, car, television, etc.
E.g.: I rented a car from a garage so that I could get about.

rent (n): 租金 1-a fixed amount of money that you pay regularly for the use of a room, house, car, television, etc. that someone else owns.
E.g.: I pay a higher rent than the other tenants because my room is bigger.
