My friend and I went to watch a play last week. The name is “Sleep No More”. It is different with the traditional plays in the theater, which needs audiences follow up them, moving, running and interacting. The location is unique, it is a 3-floors building. Each storey has its own scene, like as streets, shops, hotels and rooms in house.

The storyline refers to the novel of Shakespeare “Macbeth”. We knew it was a tragical story, even though we didn’t read it. But it would not impact us to understand their performance, because it was a little messy for people who watched it at the first time. (Haaa~~). What we need to do was to enjoy their performance and experience it. All audiences were required to have the mask and keep quiet. The entire play wasn’t have any dialogues, all performances was presented by the bodies of actors.

If you would like to watch it, I can give you some tips:
1, Have a comfortable shoes, the sports are better.
2, If you are female, dress beautifully, you might interact with someone in the play.
3, Read “Macbeth” before you watch this play is good, but if you don’t do it, no worries.
4, There are several story lines in the play, try to follow the one of it, which helps you understand better. Every line will lead you to the main line.
5, Important! Have some food and water before you are about to “in” the play. You will need to walking, running and sitting for 3 hours without food and water.

I’ve decided to watch it one more time ! I think it is worth watching 3 times at least.
