Vocabulary

better off-be better off-to have more money than you had in the past or more money than most other people:
E.g.: Obviously we’re better off now that we’re both working.

-wise-suffix, relating to a particular thing:
E.g.: What shall we do food-wise – do you fancy going out to eat?
E.g.: Money-wise, of course, I’m much better off than I used to be.
E.g.: What do we need to take with us clothes-wise?
E.g.: We were very lucky weather-wise yesterday.

suffix-A suffix is added at the end of a word, and a prefix is added to the beginning.

prefix-In the word “unimportant”, “un-” is a prefix.
