Vocabulary
inconclusive (adj): 1-不确定的. 2-not giving or having a result or decision:
E.g.: The evidence is inconclusive.
E.g.: The medical tests were inconclusive, and will need to be repeated.
conclusive (adj): 1- proving that something is true, or ending any doubt:
E.g.: They had conclusive evidence/proof of her guilt.
E.g.: a conclusive argument
opinion (n): 1- a thought or belief about something or someone:
E.g.: What’s your opinion about/on the matter?
E.g.: People tend to have strong opinions on capital punishment.
E.g.: He didn’t express/give an opinion on the matter.
2-a judgment made by an expert:
E.g.: My doctor has referred me to a specialist for a second opinion on the results of my blood test.
synchronize (v): 1-to (cause to) happen at the same time:
E.g.: The show was designed so that the lights synchronized with the music.
2-When people synchronize their watches, they make sure that all their watches show the same time:
E.g.: We’d better synchronize our watches if we all want to be there at the same time.
fluorography/photofluorography-荧光- photography of images produced by a fluoroscopic examination, used in x-ray examination of the lungs of large groups of people.
