usually I have to miss four trains before I can board one, cause in the morning at the subway/metro station there are too many people

promotion (n): 1-activities to advertise something:

advertise (v): 1- to make something known generally or in public, especially in order to sell it:
E.g.: We advertised our car in the local newspaper.
E.g.: He advertises his services on the company notice board.
E.g.: I’m going to advertise for (= put a notice in the newspaper, local shop, etc., asking for) someone to clean my house.

turnstile (n): 1-a device that controls the way into or out of a building, room, or area of land, especially one that you have to pay to enter. It is a post with a number of short poles sticking out from it that have to be pushed round as each person walks through the entrance: METRO STATION DOORS

bun (n): 1 a small, round piece of bread, especially one that is cut horizontally and holds a burger:

vertical (adj): 1- standing or pointing straight up or at an angle of 90° to a horizontal surface or line:
E.g.: vertical lines/stripes

cliff (n): 1-a high area of rock with a very steep side, often on a coast:
E.g.: Keep away from the edge of the cliff – you might fall.
E.g.: the cliff edge
