Vocabulary

disobedient (adj): 1-refusing to do what someone in authority tells you to do:
E.g.: a disobedient child

obedient (adj): 1-doing, or willing to do, what you have been told to do by someone in authority:
E.g.: Students are expected to be quiet and obedient in the classroom.
E.g.: an obedient dog

in short supply- If something is in short supply, there is little of it available:
E.g.: Strawberries are in short supply this summer.

counter- (prefix)-opposing or as a reaction to something:
E.g.: a counterattack (= an attack on someone who has attacked you)

suffice (v)-to be enough:
E.g.: I’m taking $400 – I think that should suffice.
