A short trip to Xian
I went to Xian from Friday to Sunday last week. When I just arrived there I had to go to work. There was a new shop that was supposed to open soon, so I had to do (arrange) the display before the opening.
The staff cleared up the shop and ironed the clothing before I arrived to (the shop). When I arrived there, there were some bags and shoes that hadn’t arrived yet. I was supposed to stay there for three days until they arrived. I worked till 3am the next day, and then I went to the hotel to sleep. I decided to go to see the Terracotta Warriors and horses by myself/on my own. It took me 40 minutes by taxi before I arrived there from the hotel. There were not too many people because the weather was so cold. It had snowed two days before. It cost me 100RMB to find a guide because I wanted someone to tell me what had happened in there. She told me about the history of the place, when it was discovered and who founded the cemetery/tomb. The tomb was built by the emperor for himself when was died so he could still be an emperor in the other world.
