We all know the travelling benefits. Travelling can help us to relieve the stress, make us happier, let us recharge ourselves. But frankly, this is my only one trip in the past two years. It is unbelievable that I didn’t left shanghai for over 2 years since last trip.
Back to the topic, I think it is time to resume the study/ pick up English again and continue to study after one month break.
There are two issues about work that I would like to share with you.

One is about facilitator. I come here to study English because this facilitator project, but in last month I was informed by our global team that I didn’t need to join Q4 training. The main reason is English. It would still be a big challenge for me if I was nominated to be key facilitator instead of doing some supporting tasks. To be honest, I am a little bit disappointed when I heard it/received this message from our global team, but the truth is I am not qualified for this role.

The second issue is mentor. My boss tole me they arranged one mentor, who is CFO for SEA. He is foreigner, borned in UK and now located in Singapore. So this is new headache for me…

China may open its borders after it vaccinates over 85 percent of its population by early 2022, said Gao Fu, head of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, in a recent interview.

The current epidemic control measures against COVID-19 in China have won a lot of time to produce enough vaccines and inoculate people, he told news outlet ifeng. If the vaccination rate can reach more than 85 percent in early 2022, there will be few infections and none of those infected would be in serious condition or die. Besides, the virulence of the coronavirus is also decreasing, according to Gao.

“By that time, why shouldn’t we open up?” he said.

When the prevalence and fatality rate of COVID-19 are more like that of the flu, and it seems it would co-exist with humans, the efforts to root out the virus will be a protracted war, he said. “In that case, we should continue to vaccinate more people, develop new vaccines, and especially, produce effective drugs.”

He added since it’s still possible for vaccinated people to get infected, it’s important for everyone to keep wearing masks, maintain social distancing and wash their hands frequently.
