F2F Class Notes (Maddie)

Recently, I have been paying attention to the two sports finals, which is very impressive. One is Men’s 100m run race，and one is Women’s 10m platform diving.
For the Men‘s 100m race,Chinese won the sixth. Actually is not very good results in the Olympic，but it‘s a major breakthrough in Asia. Asians have no obvious advantage on running ，that we don’t have the advantage of being tall and having long legs. Then in each Olympic，it’s hard to watch an Asian in the final race. But in this Olympic，A Chinese athlete Su Bingtian, he did it. He made it to the finals and finished sixth. His result broke the Asian record in this race. He is really a great athlete.
For the Women’s 10m platform diving，both the first and second place are all Chinese. The winner is only 14 years old. She looks like a kid，but she won a gold medal. She always felt steady during the game and got full marks in three times jumps. I watched her interview video after race that she was still clam. She always keep hard to train in her daily. But she never told with her parents how hard in her train. She just want to win more competition to earn more money，then she can take her mom to a better hospital to treatment. When I watched this video，I was really moved. She just a little girl, but she has begun to take on family responsibilities. She is awesome，and I really admire her.
