Vocabulary

1.tipsy (adj)= a little drunk
ex: I’m a little tipsy after 3 shots.

2.sober (adj)= 醒酒 醒的
ex: I will be sober in half an hour.
ex: he’s been sober for 2 months.

3.alcoholic (noun) = someone who has a drinking problem
workaholic
shopaholic
ex: Judy is a workaholic, she has two jobs.
ex: Some people are alcoholic, they can’t control themselves from drinking.

4. pairs of =对 双
ex: i have over 40 pairs of boots.
ex: a pair of glasses.

5. lack= don’t have
ex: the company lacks vision.
ex: If you lack love, then you need to improve yourself to be a better person.
ex: he lacks interpersonal skills/ communication skills.

6. vision (noun)= the goal for the company 远见
ex: Jack Ma has a vision to replace cash with Alipay.

7. on the right/wrong track= 在对的轨道/路上
ex: we’re on the right track. 

Speaking exercise

I work from the the computer company, I think they didn’t find the core value to the business. I think the concept is what they believe to make money. It’s the easy money. You make several commission. They always talk we will do the industry. I think the industry is not the goal or target, is from you figure out the best price from industry like the semi-conductor.

I work in a computer company, I don’t think they have a core value for the business. I think  they only believe in making easy money with commissions. They always talk about how far we would go in the industry. I don’t think they have the right vision, all we have as an advantage is the competitive price for the semi-conductor.
