Bring in meeting minutes and go over them together, looking for any unfamiliar words.

Vocabulary

Jewelry– decorative items that you wear like rings or bracelets

e.g. I like to wear jewelry when I go to work.

Volatile- Something that can change very quickly without warning (remember Chemistry!)

e.g. The stock market this month was very volatile; prices dropped quickly.

Fluctuating- Something that changes, but in a more controlled way.

e.g. Prices for flights tend to fluctuate, they go up and down.

Prevailing practice – something that happens usually, a standard practice or behavior

e.g. Inspecting cargo ships at the port is a prevailing practice in China.

Trim-to cut a small amount

e.g. I trimmed the paper and made it into a flower
