I should have interests of the destination at least so that I can escape from my work because I will spend a lot of time on it and exploring the things what I interest in it.

I need to have at least some/a certain amount of interest in the destination at least so that I would spend a lot of time to do some preparation. It distracts me from my work/helps me escape from the work.
