How has your day been? = has your day been good up until now?/ so far?

Niece (neece):  your brother/sisters daughter.

Eg.  My sister’s daughter is my niece.

Nephew: your brother/sisters son.

Eg.  I hope one day I will have a nephew.

Gift:  a present, a special item that you give to someone else.

Eg.  Birthday present/gift, Christmas gifts, New Years gifts.

Toy:  an item that you can play with, usually for kids.

Eg.  In Canada most gifts for kids are toys.

Candle(s) (can – dull):  the items you light on fire on top of a birthday cake.

Eg.  A candle is on the cake.

Balloon (bah – loon): the things you fill with air and they decorate parties.

Eg.  The balloon is in the air.

Decorate:  to add things to a room to make it more beautiful.

Eg.  We use decorations for birthday parties.

Eg.  We decorate our house for new years.

This day I’m very happy because my niece birthday party.  I will get to toy as a gift, for her. My sister will use balloons to decorate the house.  There will be candles on the birthday cake.

Longer:

Today I’m very happy because it’s my niece’s birthday party, she will be 5 years old.  I woke up early so that I could look nice and wear a dress.  Then I out going by fruits for the party, and buy cake as well.  The cake is covered in fruit, which will be tasty.  I buy toy as a gift for her, I think she like it.  My sister will use balloons to decorate the house, I help her.  There will be candles on the birthday cake, which is beautiful.  I think it’s a perfect party.
