observances (uh – b- zur – vuhns – es): a way to keep a celebration or tradition going. How someone might celebrate something.
ex: I usually take part in Christmas observances.
Ms (miz): a woman who you are not sure if they are married or not.
ex: Some women prefer to be called Ms.
Mrs. – a married woman.
Miss – an unmarried woman.
Ms. – unknown relationship status, a more polite way of referring to an older woman that you don’ t know if they’re married.
intolerant (adjective): not respecting or putting up with someone else’s opinions, religion or beliefs. etc.
ex: I am intolerant of cigarette smoke.
ex: I am intolerant of people who smoke cigarettes.
recognizable (rek – uh g -nahyz – a bul)
commemorate: to celebrate, or to remember.
ex: They had a party to commemorate their wedding anniversary.
noun : any word that tells the elements of “ person, place or thing”.
cyber: a word to describe something on the internet.
ex: I met my boyfriend in cyber space.
