I feel a little pressure myself – I am feeling under pressure
unrealistic: something that is not real, or not reachable. Not achievable.
ex: The goal is unrealistic, we cannot achieve it.
make some communication – have some communication
moving van: a vehicle you might use to move your stuff when you change apartments.
ex: A moving van can help me to move to a new apartment easier.
last of last – the time before last
patio (pah – tee – o): an outdoor part of your house that opens up onto the grass outside.
ex: I really want a new apartment with a patio that I can grow some plants on.
we don’t always windy – We don’t get very much wind
flood: with lots of rain the water will rise and enter into the houses.
ex: A flood may result in some big losses.
ex: The farm was flooded, and all the plants died.
I and my childhood – My neighbour and I
tragic (adj.): extremely sad, or disastrous. Related to tragedy.
ex: Hamlet is a tragedy
ex: The story of Hamlet is tragic.
ex: I don’t usually read tragic stories because they make me feel sad.
natural disaster: flood, forest fire, tsunami, hurricane, infectious disease
ex: Natural disasters are hard to avoid.
ex: Natural disasters can be very tragic.
disaster: something went wrong. suddenly and causing great loss of life, damage, or hardship
ex: A disaster may cause some tragic results.
ex: My presentation to my boss was a disaster.
drain (noun/verb)/ sewer drain: the holes in the pavement or road to help get water off the road.
ex: The water from the flood will eventually go down the drain.
ex: The water from the toilet will always end up in the sewer.
ex: I need to drain the water from my noodles before I eat them.
ex: People drain the tea leaves from the water.
