F2F Class Notes _19th May (Harmony)

Review:

Correction **

Caboose:  the train car that is at the end!  Usually to hold the crew/staff for them to sleep or eat etc.

Eg.  When we took the kids out for a walk, they all had to hold hands and I was the caboose. = I was the last person in the chain of kids.

Engine:  the first train car, holds the conductor and makes the train go forward!

Wedding Party/ Bridal Party:  Bride, Groom, Bridesmaids, and Groomsmen.

Storytelling:

The wedding was on Sunday, and It rained heavily on that morning.  And there is a saying that if the day you are getting married is raining heavily it means the bride will take a lot of money to your family.  So actually we were a little awkward on that morning because we all dressed very long dresses and it was hard for us to go outside and go to the hotel, go to the place which holded the ceremony.  When we finally got to the hotel it’s time for us to start the ceremony, and my job was to give the couple their rings and they can exchange their rings.  There was a long way in front of me to get them but my dress was so long that I kept stepping on my dress.  So I had to take the corner of my dress with my one hand and hold the rings with my another hand.  It was a bit awkward because I supposed to hold the rings with my both hands.  But fortunately the ceremony went well and the result was not bad.

Edit Together:

The wedding was on Sunday, and it rained heavily that morning. There is a saying that says if it’s raining heavily on the day you get married, it means the bride will bring a lot of money to your family. Actually we were a little awkward that morning because we were all dressed in long dresses and it was hard for us to go outside to the hotel, and to the place which the ceremony was held.  When we got to the hotel we had only a little bit of time before we needed to start the ceremony. My job was to give the couple their rings so they can exchange them.  There was a long aisle in front of me to get to them but my dress was so long and I kept stepping on it.  So I had to hold the corner of my dress with one hand and hold the rings with another hand.  It was a bit awkward because I was supposed to hold the rings with two hands. Fortunately, the ceremony went well and everyone was happy.

Eg.  If it’s raining heavily on the day you get married, it means……

Aisle (i’ll):  a strip of a walkway, usually in a store or a church.

Eg.  When the bride walks down the aisle, everyone must stand up.

Runway:  a lifted platform to walk down.  (also a landing or takeoff strip for planes)
