Vocabulary

scroll down/up – to move a webpage or document on a computer up or down

eg: “Can you scroll down so I can read the next part?”

interface – something that connects two things together and allows them to communicate

eg: “GUI means Graphic User interface, it is the design of the app.”

read lips – to understand what a person is saying, by only looking at their mouth

eg: “I can’t read lips, so I have no idea what they are saying.”

phrase – a few words often used together.   “Send a message”   “open the door” “look at that”

eg: “Always answer a question in class with a  phrase, not just one word.”
