Revise – 复习 (e.g. During my bachelors I had a lot of exams so I needed to revise a lot.)

Dinner appointments – When you have a formal plan to meet someone at a restaurant. (e.g. I have a dinner appointment at 7pm tomorrow evening.)

Separate themselves from the crowd – to be different from the majority of other people. (e.g. In order to have a better chance of getting a job straight out of university, it is important to separate yourself from the crowd.)

g2g – got to go (e.g. g2g its time for dinner.)

lol – laugh out loud (e.g. OMG I can’t believe he just said that! lol)

rofl – rolling on the floor laughing (e.g. Did you see the video I just sent u rolf)

brb – be right back (e.g. brb got to go eat.)

bff – best friends forever (e.g. Love you lots bff xx.)

bffl – Best friends for life

xoxo – kiss, hug, kiss, hug (always at the end of the text.)
