Zit (n): 1- a spot on the skin; acne
E.g.: I looked in the mirror this morning and was very sad to see a zit on my nose.

Metabolism(n): 1- the chemical processes by which a plant or an animal uses food, water, etc., to grow and heal and to make energy.
E.g.: Naturally slim people usually have a faster metabolism.

Genetics (n): 1- the scientific study of how genes control the characteristics of plants and animals.
E.g.: He was thin mainly because of genetics and didn’t need to exercise or care about his diet.

Work out (v): 1- to exercise.
E.g.: I work out three or four times a week.

Cardio (n): 1- cardiovascular exercise. A kind of exercise that brings your heart rate up.
E.g.: She does a lot of cardio in order to lose weight.

Quit (v): 1- leave (a place), usually permanently.
E.g.: He just decided to quit his job.

Appeal (v): 1- make a serious, urgent, or heartfelt request.
E.g.: Police are appealing for information about the incident.
