Vocabulary

Award (n): 1-  a prize or an amount of money that is given to someone following an official decision.
E.g.: They have authorized awards of $900 to each of the victims.

Keep up appearances (v): 1- to pretend to be happier, less poor, etc. than you really are, because you do not want people to know how bad your situation is.
E.g.: They were very unhappily married but kept up appearances for the sake of their children.

For the sake of somebody/for somebody’s sake: 1-  in order to help or bring advantage to someone
E.g.: I’m trying to keep life normal for the sake of my two boys.

Be true to yourself (id): 1- to be completely honest about what you feel, deeply value, and desire.
E.g.: The most important thing is to ways be true to yourself.
