Vocabulary

Fairly – a little bit (I only just changed jobs but I am already fairly happy with my decision.)

Ok – fairly good – good – pretty good – very good 

Left= chance Right= frequency

100% – Definitely/Always (e.g. I definitely like to eat but I don’t always go out to eat.)

80% – Probably/Often – Usually (e.g. I will probably go to a market tomorrow because I often go shopping three times a week.)

50% – Maybe/Sometimes (e.g. Sometimes I dream of being a teacher, maybe I will realise my dream in the future.)

30% – Unlikely/Rarely – Hardly ever (e.g. I hardly go to see fiction films because they rarely interest me so it is unlikely that I will come to the cinema with you.)

0% – Impossible/Never (e.g. I have never been abroad before but I think it is not impossible for me to do this sometime in the near future.)

Tangent – when something goes off course or off topic (e.g. we were originally talking about work experience but then went on a bit of a tangent.)
