Vocabulary

I just moved apartments – 我搬家了

Square meters (m2) – 平方 (e.g. My living room is 40 square meters.)

Illegal – When something is against the law (e.g. It is illegal to rent an apartment that you have not bought.)

IKEA – 宜家 (e.g. I recently went to IKEA to buy some furniture.)

Stressful – when something is very troublesome and (e.g. Moving apartments is very stressful.)

Landlord – 房东 (e.g. My new landlord is a very nice person.)

Discount – 打折 (e.g. Now lots of shopping malls have a discount.)

Profit – to make more money than your costs (e.g. If you want to be rich you need to make lots of profit.)

Nightmare – a bad dream (e.g. Recently I have been having a lot of nightmares because of my new apartment.)

Studio apartment – an apartment that has no separating walls (e.g. Shanghai has a lot of expensive studio apartments for rent.)
