ice skates n. – shoes for hockey and ice skating
blade n. – very sharp, knife-like, at the bottom of ice skates
glide v. – smoothly go/move
eg. Ice skaters and hockey players glide on the ice.
eg. The boats glided slowly across the lake.
pasttime n. – refers to sth you enjoy doing to pass the time / something popular/famous in a region
eg. Hockey is a favorite pasttime in Canada.

a decent person = good morals, polite, well mannered, not mean
When they are resting (in the future, present continuous) > When they are resting, they will be sitting under the umbrella.
When they were resting (past continuous) > When they were resting, they were sitting under the umbrella.
When they rested (simple past tense) > When they rested, they sat under the umbrella.
When they will rest (simple future) > When they will rest, they will sit under the umbrella.
