Vocabulary

ensure the survival of our species

property – uncountable noun for everything you own.

eg: That is my property.          She is selling 5 properties in California, only one has a house on it.

enroll – sign up for classes

recruit – to find new members/employees/soldiers

eg: You can’t just stand out on the street handing out flyers to recruit a girlfriend.

flyer – promotional paper, very small, often handed out on the street

eg: Sometimes flyers are useful for me. Sometimes I take them just to be polite.

Give somebody credit:
Eg. Mary should give her team members credit for their efforts on the project.

take credit
Eg, She took credit for the presentation slides but in fact, which was done by her colleague.
Eg, Tom cannot take credit for this successful event, this is for all the team’s effort.

Give birth to
Eg: Now each family can give birth to two children in China.
Eg: Many countries encourage their people give birth to more children.

Vent
Eg: We need to vent occasionally to keep peace and relax.

Criteria
Eg: there are some criteria when a private school to have enrolled the new students.

Q: NASA confirms that a relatively nearby planetary system is structured remarkably like the earth when it was young.
If human can move to the other planet to live, will you be the one of the first immigrant?
If you accept it, you probably own much more rights of priority, benefits, properties, and so on.
