Vocabulary

Orchid (n): 1- a plant with beautifully coloured flowers that have an unusual shape. 2- 兰花
E.g.: Many tropical orchids grow on the side of trees, and will not do well if their roots stay wet.

Greenhouse (n): 1- a building with a roof and sides made of glass, used for growing plants that need warmth and protection.
E.g.: He grows a lot of tomatoes in his greenhouse.

Fertility (n): 1- (of animals and plants) the ability to produce young or fruit.
E.g.: She began fertility treatment at the clinic three years ago.

Fertilizer (n): 1- a natural or chemical substance that is spread on the land or given to plants, to make plants grow well.
E.g.: Chemical fertilizers may cause serious health problems.
