Vocabulary

to have a rough day – to have a difficult day, to not be in a good mood on this day

e.g. My hair was a mess today. My boyfriend broke up with me and my mom is mad at me. I’m having a rough day.

The last thing you want – “things you dont want”, the thing you dont want at all, something you hope won’t happen,

e.g. /The last thing I want/is/to fail my exams

To be rushed – to be in a hurry, to have to do things quickly because you don’t have enough time

e.g. I will have ten minutes to get from here to Baoshan, I will be rushed.

To be frustrated – 很烦， to be annoyed,  to feel bad because there’s so many things in your head

e.g. I’m really frustrated about this new work project, there’s so many things I don’t understand.

project – 项目

e.g. We’re starting a big project next week.

graduation ceremony – 毕业show

e.g. My parents were at my graduation ceremony and it was very nice.

weekday – a day from Monday to Friday

e.g. It’s hard to do things on the weekdays because a lot of people have to work then.

This weekend, I will go shopping with my friend, because this weekday I feel a lot of pressure. I did a lot of homework, so this weekend I need to go out to relax. Maybe we will go to shop to buy some clothes.

I don’t have enough time to go to Shanghai fashion week but I went to another show. For example, my university graduation ceremony and some brands’ show.
