what have you been up to?= what have you been doing

Q:have you been up to much?

A: Not not much really, just the usual

was visit me= he visited me

Q: What was your favourite ride?

A: My favourite ride was “Tron” the motorbike ride

Q:

sarcasm:saying something that is obvious to make a joke, or make fun of someone

sarcastic: He is always so sarcastic when speaking to me!

eg I dont appreciate the sarcastic comments right now/ I dont appreciate your sarcasm

mistype = make a mistake when typing

eg When I try to type too quickly, I mistype a lot.

Grieving = The process of being sad about something bad, crying etc

eg: Can you come to work next week, I know your parents died recently but are you ok now? No sorry, im still grieving.

monitor(noun)= screen, for computer

eg Is that a new computer monitor?

monitor(verb)= To watch something carefully

eg Im monitoring your behaviour Max.

faint= to pass out, to lose consciousness

eg I saw a huge spider, it made me faint!

eg: The sight of blood makes me faint!

in good hands= you can trust me, ill look after you

eg Ill leave you with Jesse now, dont worry, your in good hands.

luggage= Things you bring with you going somewhere

Baggage= The bags you bring with you

encourage= made to feel enthusiastic, and positive about something

discouraged=made to feel unenthusiastic, and disheartened about something/ negative about something
