eg. There are big crowds of people at the Bund.

eg. There is a crowd of people by the coat check.

eg. Wang Fei had a concert on the first day of 2017 so there were big crowds of people at her/the show.

eg. In China always have a group of people when car crash to see. – There is always a group of people watching when there is a car crash. 

next to me / beside me

eg. Next to me is the computer. / The computer is next to me.  / The computer is next to me on my left and the water is on my right.

eg. Next to me is the toy lion. / The toy lion is next to me. /  The toy lion is next to me on my right and the plant is next to me on my left.

eg. Beside me is Judy. / Judy is beside me. / Judy is beside me on my right  and Jesse is on my left.

sth is beside sth = beside sth is sth

eg. Jing’an Temple is beside Old Navy. = Beside Jing’an Temple is Old Navy.

eg. Old Navy is beside Jing’an Temple. = Beside Old Navy is Jing’an Temple.

on the left / on the right

eg. On the left is my house, on the right is the hospital.

eg. On the left is McDonald’s, on the right is KFC.

comfort / comforting / comforted / will comfort v. – to make sb or sth feel better or not sad

eg. The guy next to me comforted me after the other guy yelled at me.
