friendly with someone

implication – a possible future effect or result

eg: I don’t wanna burn any bridges because it could have some implications on my future jobs.

dawn on – to suddenly realize something

eg: It dawned on me that since this is my last day, I don’t need to work overtime.

arrogant – having or showing the insulting attitude of people who believe that they are better, smarter, or more important than other people

eg: She’s first in her class, but she’s not arrogant about it.

hubris –  a great or foolish amount of pride or confidence

eg: His hubris stopped him from getting a promotion.

vile – extremely disgusting

eg: Eating a scorpion was so vile.

siesta – daytime nap

eg: Boss, do you need a siesta?
