Employment:

Bonus:  additional pay to give incentive/reward.

Eg.  I got my bonus every January.  – I get my bonus every January.

CV (curriculum vitae):  resume: your list of job experience, you pass this out when trying to get a new job.

Eg.  You must make your resume before you have an interview.

Dismiss:  a politer way to say “fire”.

Eg.  I had to dismiss Johnny.

Eg.  I got dismissed.

Maternity leave: time off work that a new mother gets.

Eg.  You can have a maternity leave when you have a baby.

Paternity leave:  time off work that a new father gets.

Perk: (like a bonus) not money.

Eg.  Free parking/ gym pass/products.

Eg.  I got fragrance for my perk last month.

Recruit:  to look for new employees/personnel.

Eg.  The HR team will recruit some new employees.

Marketing:

Distribution:  getting the product from the factory to the end-user.

Eg.  The distribution between the factory to the end-user maybe spend one month – will maybe take one month.

Image:  映像 how the public views the company.

Eg.  The image of our customer is very important to us.

POS (point of sale): the cash register/ where the consumer pays for the product.

Eg.  When the customer wants to pay for goods the employee want use the POS. – the employee has to use the POS.

Registration:  sign-up/ the act of signing up. (registering)

Eg.  You must have a registration in our business.
