Past Continuous Tense

eg. When Catia arrived at the restaurant, I was talking to a friend on the phone.

eg. When my husband woke up, I was still sleeping.

eg. When my family called me on the phone, I was using  my sewing  machine.

eg. When the delivery guy rang the doorbell, I was washing my/the dishes.

eg. When I was in my English class, my husband was visiting the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum.

Future Continuous

eg. I can’t go to the party on Friday, because I will be having dinner with my boss. =I can’t go to the party on Friday, because I will have dinner with my boss.

eg. After my English class, I will be joining my friends at the Barbarosa. = After my English class, I will join my friends at the Barbarosa.
