Vocabulary

Slang – informal words or phrases

Formal – when something is considered serious, usually in a business setting (e.g. Because I work in a bank, I have to dress formally everyday and wear a suit.)

Informal – When something or some situation is casual

Receptionist – Someone who works behind the front desk

Industry – a specific type of business or business sector (e.g. I used to work in the packaging industry.)

Contradiction – is when you say something but do something different

Hustler – someone who is always tying to earn more money
