grow out of sth. – to stop doing something when you get older, to become older
eg: “Babies are about two years old when they start to grow out of their diapers.”
potty training – to teach a child how to use the toilet
eg: “My daughter is potty trained, but she still wears diapers at night.”
Writing exercise
Original –
When I was young I like to keep rabbits. I bought about three rabbits in different time. But all of them died after one week. The first rabbit died because of milk. I feed it milk and she died the day after I feeding her milk. The second rabbit, I don’t know why she died, just died after one week. The third rabbit died of planet at my home. And my mother said give it some pills may be useful, I mean human pills. But now I found that young rabbit, little rabbit, you can’t feed them moisture food. Even like grass, you should feed them dry grass.
Correction –
When I was young I liked to keep rabbits. I bought about three rabbits at different times. But all of them died after one week. The first rabbit died because it drank milk. I gave her milk and she died the day after. I don’t know why the second rabbit died, it just died after one week. The third rabbit died from eating a plant on my balcony. And my mother said, “giving it some pills may be helpful, I mean human medicine.” But now I found out that young rabbits can’t eat moist food. Even things like grass, you should feed them dry grass only.
