Vocabulary

Soft-spoken (adj): 1- having a quiet, pleasant voice.
E.g.: She’s a very shy, soft-spoken girl.

Difficult (adj): 1- needing skill or effort.
E.g.: It will be very difficult to prove that they are guilty.

Decision (n): 1- a choice that you make about something after thinking about several possibilities. (v: Decide)
E.g.: She has had to make some very difficult decisions.

Extend (v): 1- to add to something in order to make it bigger or longer.
E.g.: We have plans to extend our house (= to make it bigger).

Scholarship (n): 1- 奖学金

Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I used to work at a Nokia store, but I’m not currently working. I just practice yoga everyday.
