She already had a rhinoplasty. I think it’s okay. Maybe a lot of people have plastic surgery. I think it’s important that the client or patient knows that they can live without doing this operation and that they can have relationships without problems. I think if it’s a way of looking better it’s okay.

I think sometimes it’s easier for people to get the operation than to recover their confidence. She had treatment, a psychological treatment in an eating disorder clinic and they helped her.

I think I can compare these two cases. Hers and my friends. My friend didn’t have a problem and she did her operation. So, I think it’s okay when people are mentally healthy enough to do it. At this age, it’s difficult. You’re growing up psychologically. It’s difficult to find a way to feel fine. You need to feel like you’re at the bottom to ask for help.

In her case, it was not the worst one but I have acquaintances…. People can’t talk about it. People don’t know what happened. People don’t know they have a problem. They are only thinking about food and weight. They want to hide it. I think the problem isn’t the eating disorder but it’s something that is behind the eating disorder. All these kinds of patients don’t know what the problem is behind the eating disorder. They can only see the eating disorder, the food, their weight. It’s a symptom. They need to stop this behaviour to see the real problem. There are a lot of symptoms. Drugs,…

My friend has one patient, she cuts herself. This is also a symptom. I think it is because she had a bad experience in the school in Spain. The family came here and she is scared because she thinks it is possible that the same thing will happen again. To be alone. She’s from the countryside and this is a big city. I think her friends in the school are … It’s an international school, all the people are different.
