We’ll have an annual dinner next Friday, this is the grandest celebration of our company every year. Each department has to prepare one or two performances for the celebration.
What kind of performance shall we do? Some of our coworkers have an argument about this issue. Someone only planned to sing a song, but someone had criticism, they want to dance. It’s really difficult to choose for us. Finally our boss made a decision that one person sing a song and others dance for her, and everyone agree to do it.
My boss asked me to borrow some costumes which will be worn by the dancers when they were dancing at the stage. So I went to a perfessional store which lend all kinds of costumes. I chose 10sets of costumes with white and red color. It looks very nice, but it costs about CNY 1000, which is higher than our
budget. I have to report this occasion to my boss, I hope that she will increase the budget of our costumes.
These days we have had rehearsal during the lunch time, everyone worked very hard.

Next Friday we’ll have our company’s annual dinner, which is the grandest celebration of the year. Each department has to prepare one or two performances for the celebration, so we have had rehearsals during the lunch time for the past few days and everyone worked very hard.
Some of our coworkers had an argument about what kind of performance we should do. While some people thought that we should only sing a song, others had some criticism of that idea and wanted to dance. It was really difficult for us to choose, so finally our boss decided that one person would sing a song and the others would dance. Everyone agreed to do that.
My boss asked me to rent some costumes for the dancers, so I went to a specialized store and chose 10 sets of white and red costumes. They look very nice, but they cost about CNY 1000, which is higher than our budget. I have to report this to my boss and I hope that she will increase our budget.
