Vocabulary

daycare – where parents put their kid during daytime when they have to go to work

e.g. In a lot of families, both the mom as well as the dad works so their kid has to go to daycare when they’re still young.

kindergarten – 幼儿园

e.g. I still remember where I went to kindergarten.

vaccination/vaccine – 预防针

e.g. I got the flu vaccination this year, so I won’t get the flu.

controversial – something that not a lot of people agree on, or something that strongly divides peoples

e.g. The subject of vaccinations is quite controversial in the USA.

allergy – 过敏

e.g. I have hay fever, which is an allergy for pollen (flowers/plants in spring).

vaccine – vaksin
