One week ago, my friends told me that they wanted to travel around near Shanghai. Then we decided Nanjing was a good place because it is very convenient to go there. It only takes one hour to get there by high speed train. We chose 2 days that we were all available on to travel to Nanjing. So, we went there 2 days ago. We left on Monday morning and we came back on Tuesday night. It was a very exciting trip. We walked a lot and so we were all feeling tired physically but we were happy. We ate a lot of traditional food there.  I also took a lot of beautiful pictures. I love photographing  people /photography. I took a lot of pictures of my friends and scenery. There are also many traditional gardens. Those buildings with lakes and lots of trees and flowers make a very peaceful/serene/harmonious scenery. The weather was good, it was not so sunny.

One week ago, my friends told me that they wanted to travel around/near Shanghai.
So we picked/chose Nanjing because it is close by/it is easy to get there/it’s not far away/it’s a hop, skip, and a jump away.
It only takes one hour to get there by high speed train. We selected/planned/scheduled 2 days that we were all free on to visit/be tourists in Nanjing. So, we went there 2 days ago. We left on Monday morning and we came back on Tuesday night. It was a very  worthwhile/successful/memorable trip. We toured/explored a lot and so we were all dead tired/beat/our feet hurt like hell but we were happy. We discovered/sampled/devoured /stuffed our faces with a lot of traditional food.  I also snapped a lot of beautiful pictures. I love photographing  people /photography. I took a lot of pictures of my friends and scenery. There are also several/plentiful traditional gardens. Those buildings with lakes and lots of trees and flowers make a very peaceful/serene/harmonious/calm/soothing/tranquil scenery. The weather was cloudy/grey, it was not so sunny.
