Interconnected – when two or more things are joined or connected in some way. (e.g. There are many interconnected departments in my company, we all have to work together in order to reach our goals.)

Impressed – to think something is good/well done (e.g. Actually, my Chinese managers were quite impressed with my work, however, I still did not get the promotion.) 

Office politics – the politics within a company. (e.g. I hate office politics, they can be so complicated and troublesome, however, sometimes you have to learn them or find another job.)
