Vocabulary

To Jog – slow running (e.g. Humans can jog for very long time.)

Congestion charge – the money you have to pay if you want to go into the centre of London. (e.g. If you want to drive to work in London you need to be prepared to pay a lot of money everyday because of the congestion charge.)

Eliminated – to kick out or get rid-of (e.g. After interviewing 50 potential employees, I had to eliminate 40 so that we have 10 potential employees for round 2.)

Pension – the money you receive after you retire. (e.g. I need a Shanghai hukou if you want a pension from the Shanghai government.)

Cousin – 表姐/堂姐

Nursery – school for children below the age of 6-8 (e.g. In China it is common to send children to nursery up to the age of 8.)
