Vocabulary
Where do you draw the line? – describing the limits of what is ok and what is wrong
(e.g. Where you draw the line with people talking loudly on public transport? I think….)
(e.g.When it is rush hour I draw the line at paying extra for my didi.)
(To) cross the line – to change from doing something ok to something bad
(e.g. When somebody picks their ear for more than 6 minutes they have crossed the line.)
(e.g. I know that when I shouted at my boss I crossed the line.)
(To) attract attention – to get somebody’s attention (e.g. John’s horrible appearance attracted everybody’s attention on the high street.)
Over the top – when someone does something extra and unnecessary instead of a normal response (e.g. My friend John is always so over the top, he loves to shout and run around. )
to get a like – 点赞
Harmful – when something bad happens and can harm your health (e.g. Smoking cigarettes is harmful for your health.)
