edible = which can be eaten

potable = which can be drunk

bizarre = strange, unusual

to sympathize = to understand, to agree with someone or a situation

E.g.

Molly had a terrible cold. Tom sympathized with her during this difficult time. (Tom knows what it is like.)

Trump sympathizers organized an event last night. (fans, supporters)

tally n = the total number

to tot up = to add all then items in a category (short for total)

Prague = the capital of Prague

hard liquor = whiskey, vodka etc
